**THE WORST SHIPPING COMPANY IN MALAYSIA**
**MAIN POINTS**
1. They provided a much lower quote than other companies (16 CBM), then after packing increased it to 29 CBM—almost double.
2. My wife’s phone went missing from the kitchen countertop. We traced it to Royal Relocations’ warehouse. They said they likely packed it.
3. Several of our items were broken on arrival.
4. Their customer service is rude and unprofessional. Their English is poor, responses are often delayed by days, and once they had our money, they showed no care. They never apologized for any mistakes.
**DETAILS**
We got 3 quotes for moving from Malaysia to Korea. Two companies quoted around 20 CBM, while Royal Relocations quoted 16 CBM, so we chose them.
During packing, we noticed inefficiencies:
* They rarely disassembled furniture (e.g., chairs were boxed individually instead of dismantled).
* Small items (like a small artificial Christmas tree) were packed as separate boxes instead of consolidated.
* Unlike previous movers, they removed items from cupboards and packed them separately, increasing volume unnecessarily.
At the end, they revised the quote to 29 CBM—nearly double the original estimate.

They came with a lorry instead of the container and we packed to quite full. When arrived in Portugal, I noticed there are plenty of space to include those items I have left behind. and there are boxes half filled and some boxes full of papers to fill up the boxes. I had a screw driver in one box packed with crystal glasses and a hammer in one box filled with my ceramics! And I was told that it is not the policy to repack at the warehouse. Either the company had hired a lunatic or one very unhappy worker trying to sabotage the company. I had to pay a port tax of 500 euros, which was very shocking and upsetting to me, as the quote was door -to -door and it should be handled by the company.
